Acoustic linoleum provides a linoleum floor that achieves lower Db values due to a special insulating layer that is connected to the linoleum sheet. In this way impact sound reduction up to 17 Db can be achieved.

Marmoleum Decibel from Forbo is the first linoleum product in the world with an impact sound reduction of 17dB in accordance with ISO 717-2. Marmoleum Decibel provides the highest reduction of impact sound by 17 dB. Marmoleum Decibel is 3.5 mm thick: 2.5 mm Marmoleum Real laminated onto a 1 mm thick layer of polyolefine foam.
